Rail Tec Arsenal is an internationally active independent research and testing institute for rail and road vehicles, new transport systems and technical facilities that are subject to extreme climatic conditions.
As an internationally recognised expert in climatic testing, Rail Tec Arsenal operates two modern climatic wind tunnels designed to optimise thermal comfort in public transport vehicles and to investigate and improve the availability and safety of systems in sensitive industrial areas.

Technologies and Competences
Our main customers include rail vehicle manufacturers and railway operators along with commercial vehicle manufacturers. In addition to rail and road vehicles, we also perform tests on cable cars, power supply equipment, signal installations, aircraft components, facade elements and any other technical devices that must function reliably under extreme climatic conditions. In order to keep pace with the increasing demands on climatic testing, we strive to continuously extend and consolidate our technical expertise.
The goals are to secure safety, thermal comfort, availability and energy efficiency in the rail vehicle sector under extreme climatic conditions: Quality in any weather.
